NASA said in a statement that Rover had studied around the planet after collecting a new sample of stones on August 9. Prior to this, his last two attempts to drill had failed because of extremely harsh rocks. After this Rover started using a new process to drill this year


This collection of pictures taken by Curiosity Rover also includes a rare scene taken from its own mast camera in which the thin layer of dust is being frozen on its upper part. These pictures are taken  from the Vera Rubin Ridge where the rover is currently on.



Curiosity Rover has captured the overall view of the landscape of Mars in the camera. After a gradual thunderstorm of a dust storm that lasted for weeks on the red planet in pictures, the sky can be seen red-brown.
